The NAHRI Advisory Board plays an instrumental role in the association’s direction and development. Board members donate their invaluable expertise and time to providing insight into the profession and support for NAHRI’s work.

NAHRI is deeply grateful to its current board members and those whose terms have ended at the beginning of this month. Please join us in thanking our departing board member and welcoming our newest one.

NAHRI thanks our departing board member

At the beginning of June, Valerie Rinkle, MHA, CHRI, stepped down from her position on the board at the end of her term. Rinkle was one of the founding members of the NAHRI Advisory Board and has long been a champion for revenue integrity professionals. The value and immensity of her contributions to NAHRI and the development of the revenue integrity profession cannot be overstated. I, and everyone at NAHRI, are deeply grateful for her support and for generously sharing her time and expertise. Please join us in thanking her.

We received numerous excellent applications from talented and dedicated revenue integrity professionals. The Advisory Board and NAHRI administration carefully reviewed each applicant before making the final selection. Our newest board member represents a wealth of knowledge and experience and has a proven track record of support for the NAHRI community. We are pleased to welcome Michele Bear, DBA, MBA, CHRI, CRCR, CHC, CPC, executive director of revenue integrity at Baptist Health in Jacksonville, Florida to the board.

Thank you to our current and future board members for your support and commitment to NAHRI and the revenue integrity profession.
