The National Association of Healthcare Revenue Integrity Professionals (NAHRI) is currently accepting applications for its Advisory Board. Taking an active role in NAHRI can set you on the path to shape the future of the revenue integrity profession as well as advance your career.

Before applying, please ensure you have a copy of your resume and/or CV to attach to your application. Applications are open to current or future NAHRI members and have been extended through March 9, 2020. Click here to apply.

A NAHRI Advisory Board position requires volunteer time during traditional 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. work hours. Board meetings are held quarterly by phone, although board members are encouraged to attend a face-to-face board meeting at the annual Revenue Integrity Symposium. We recommend speaking to your direct manager/supervisor prior to applying to ensure you can participate in meetings, email correspondence, and other like responsibilities. Three-year terms begin in April 2020.

Advisory Board members work alongside the NAHRI Leadership Team to ensure the association provides the most current and relevant revenue integrity news and resources. Board members offer insight and guidance for NAHRI members and are often called upon as sources or authors for NAHRI Journal stories and to respond to questions asked in our online Forums. They also provide guidance as the NAHRI Leadership team works on annual events and celebrations, such as the Revenue Integrity Symposium and Revenue Integrity Week, as well as ongoing efforts, including the CHRI credential program and networking opportunities.

Know someone who might be a good fit for an open position? Share our application with them. NAHRI membership is required for board and committee service and becoming a member is easy and affordable. We seek applicants from all areas of revenue integrity, both in the provider/hospital and consulting space, including but not limited to:

  • Revenue integrity directors, managers, analysts, and specialists
  • Revenue cycle directors, managers, analysts, and specialists
  • HIM and coding professionals
  • Healthcare legal counsel
  • Medical doctors and physician advisors
  • Compliance, privacy, and security officers

A member of the NAHRI Leadership Team will contact applicants after submissions are processed and reviewed. Please email jfitzgerald@hcpro.com with questions.
