Note from the director: Apply to the NAHRI Advisory Board

NAHRI is currently accepting applications for three open positions on its Advisory Board. If you’ve wanted an opportunity to make strong connections, provide feedback and guidance on the direction of NAHRI and industry needs, and give back to the revenue integrity community, I encourage you to apply. Applicants must be current NAHRI members and should be working in a revenue integrity or related role in the healthcare industry.
The NAHRI Advisory Board welcomes applicants from all provider types and organizations with a broad range of backgrounds and experiences. As revenue integrity continues to mature, these diverse perspectives will be essential to ensuring NAHRI truly represents the industry and remains a guiding voice and resource for knowledge and networking.
Before you apply, gather a few key pieces of information. You’ll need a copy of your resume and a professional headshot, of course, but also take some time to consider why you want to apply for the Board, what you hope to contribute, and what current revenue integrity issues you’d like to work with the other Board members to address. Take some notes so you can refer to them while completing the application. The application will ask these questions—but don’t be intimidated. Keep in mind that a thoughtful response that expresses a concrete idea or goal doesn’t need to be essay length. Also, applicants aren’t just evaluated on job title—passion, dedication, and volunteer spirit are key qualities we look for. You can complete the application here.
Applicants should also keep in mind that while serving on the Board is not a full-time commitment, Board members are expected to attend quarterly meetings during regular business hours and should be prepared to volunteer to contribute to special projects and provide feedback on the industry and trends.
