CHRI update: New testing options and updated handbook
NAHRI is partnering with a new testing partner for our Certification in Healthcare Revenue Integrity (CHRI), Prometric. One of the most significant changes is that Prometric allows examinees the option to take the CHRI exam at a computer-based testing center or via remote online proctoring.
Examinees who choose to sit for the exam at one of Prometric’s testing centers will experience little change compared to the processes used by our prior testing partner. However, remote online proctoring includes unique requirements to ensure the security of the exam and your testing environment.
Learn more about remote online proctoring and other changes in our updated CHRI Handbook. The handbook covers eligibility, testing requirements, exam options, information on preparing for your exam, and more.
The CHRI credential provides a trusted baseline of competency for revenue integrity professionals. Learn more about the credential here, and check out program requirements and prerequisites here. If you’ve already earned your CHRI, make sure you’re keeping your CEUs up to date and are prepared when your recertification date arrives.
Editor’s note: Looking for resources to prepare for the CHRI exam? The CHRI Study Guide walks through each element of the exam outline and covers essential revenue integrity knowledge for examinees. It also comes with access to the CHRI Practice Exam.
