How to save on registration and gain your organization’s support to attend the 2025 Revenue Integrity Symposium

Wednesday, April 2, 2025

Now that you’ve had a chance to check out the 2025 Revenue Integrity Symposium (RIS) agenda, you may be looking into planning to attend. You might also be reviewing the process for gaining your organization’s approval and support for attending or reimbursing you for the cost of attendance. For many organizations, education budgets have only tightened in recent years, so it’s essential to make a strong, compelling case that clearly demonstrates the return on investment.

That’s why NAHRI has created resources to help you create the perfect pitch for attending 2025 RIS (to be held September 25-26 in Westminster, Colorado).

First, carefully review the agenda and make a list of the sessions that you are most interested in attending. Select sessions that focus on topics that have a direct impact on your job, will help you develop skills you need to better support your organization, and provide essential knowledge. Make a bullet point list that explains why you want to attend these specific sessions and how they will help you do your job better. Then, sort the remainder of the sessions in order of which will have the most relevance and value to your job. Finally, create an ideal agenda for yourself and any other members of your team who may also benefit from attending. Don’t forget to consider our pre-conference boot camp—the Medicare Boot Camp®—Denials and Appeals Version (September 23-24).

Next, calculate your costs. If you register by June 20, you’ll receive a $100 discount. NAHRI members receive an additional $100 discount. That means if you’re a NAHRI member and register before June 20, you would get a combined discount of $200. Attending with your team? Groups of two to four receive a 10% discount and groups of five or more get a 15% discount. Interested in the pre-conference? If you register for the pre-conference at the same as RIS, you’ll get a 15% discount on your pre-conference registration. Finally, estimate the cost of food, travel, and accommodation. 2025 RIS will be hosted at the Westin Westminster in Westminster, Colorado, and the room rate is $229 per night. Note that the room rate cut-off date is September 2. As always, RIS provides breakfast, lunch, snacks, and refreshments on both days, as well as a networking reception at the end of day one, helping you save on the cost of food and beverages.

Now it’s time to make your case to your program administrator. Use NAHRI’s 2025 Revenue Integrity Symposium justification letter as a template to help you make a clear, meaningful, and concise case for attending.
