Note from the associate editor: Nominate a peer for excellence in revenue integrity

Wednesday, April 22, 2020

Revenue integrity professionals face new challenges every year. They are constantly on alert for regulatory changes, adapting to new roles, and fine-tuning workflow. This is especially true in the COVID-19 era, when adjustments need to be made on a seemingly daily basis.

Do you know a revenue integrity professional who has gone above and beyond in the past year?

Make sure your colleagues receive the accolades they deserve and nominate them as part of NAHRI’s Peer Recognition Program.

Nominees will be honored during Revenue Integrity Week, the national week of recognition for revenue integrity professionals. This year’s Revenue Integrity Week is scheduled for June 1‒5.

Certificates of recognition will be distributed during the week, and the full list of nominees will also be published on the NAHRI website, in Revenue Integrity Insider, and in the NAHRI Journal to help raise awareness about the important work done by revenue integrity professionals across the country. In addition, all nominees and nominators will be entered into a drawing. The winners will be announced during Revenue Integrity Week.

Nominate a deserving colleague today!

With Revenue Integrity Week rapidly approaching, be sure that your facility has all the materials it needs to join in on the celebration. This year’s theme is Revenue Integrity Investigation: The Case of the Missing Revenue. NAHRI’s Revenue Integrity Week toolkit provides logos, posters, FAQs, and fact sheets that you can use to promote the week of recognition. Several activities, including word searches and crossword puzzles, will be added to the toolkit in the coming weeks. If your facility is planning a Revenue Integrity Week activity, contact NAHRI associate editor Kevin Duffy at kduffy@hcpro.com and we will add your activity to the page.

Throughout Revenue Integrity Week, members will have access to a variety of resources and discounts to help revenue integrity professionals excel in their roles and continue to achieve high levels of success. NAHRI will release its 2020 State of the Revenue Integrity Industry Survey Report, which provides an in-depth look at the roles of revenue integrity professionals, the activities they are responsible for, and the backgrounds from which they came. Members can access the 2018 and 2019 reports here. Stay tuned for additional information.

Sponsorship opportunities are available for Revenue Integrity Week offerings. For details on sponsorship, please contact Carrie Dry at cdry@hcpro.com or call 630-235-2745.
