Welcome Note
The National Association of Healthcare Revenue Integrity (NAHRI) is a new association dedicated to providing revenue integrity professionals with the resources, networking, and education needed to foster this growing field and profession. We’re very excited about what’s ahead for the association, so we’re pleased to have the chance to share some of the exciting details with you through this introductory e-newsletter.
NAHRI held its first advisory board meeting December 12 to provide board members with the opportunity to gather and discuss the needs of revenue integrity professionals in today’s healthcare landscape. Advisory board members are busy getting to work defining the association’s mission and other standards, as well as developing forms, tools, and resources designed to help revenue integrity professionals succeed in their current roles—and their careers.
NAHRI plans to fully launch its website (www.nahri.org) and membership benefits in Spring 2017. Membership benefits will include:
- Quarterly members-only journal
- Access to a job board and networking forum
- Bi-weekly e-newsletter
- Access to a resource library of forms, tools, etc.
- Quarterly networking membership calls
- And more
In the meantime, you can stay up to date on the progress of NAHRI—including the development of a credential for revenue integrity professionals—by opting to receive association news through this e-newsletter, which will be delivered regularly beginning in 2017.
