NAHRI is now accepting applications to the NAHRI Advisory Board, the Networking & Events Committee, and the Education Committee. The application period is open now through Monday, August 10. NAHRI membership is required to serve on a NAHRI board or committee.
NAHRI Advisory Board
The NAHRI Advisory Board is tasked with providing leadership, expertise, and an industry voice for the NAHRI membership. Essential responsibilities include:
- Monitor and discuss key public policy issues that affect revenue integrity professionals.
- Contribute to meeting dialog by providing feedback and recommendations to fellow Advisory Board members.
- Provide insight into current industry needs and evaluate the impact of federal regulations, payer policies, and other technical and regulatory issues.
- Join fellow Advisory Board members and NAHRI leadership on conference calls to discuss ongoing projects and potential opportunities. At minimum, calls will be held on a quarterly basis.
- Contribute to the quarterly NAHRI Journal on a rotating basis with their fellow Advisory Board members.
- Contribute to the NAHRI Resource Library and other educational projects.
- Present on NAHRI Quarterly Member Calls on a rotating basis with their fellow Advisory Board members.
- Contribute to other Advisory Board efforts as interest, expertise, and availability permit.
Advisory Board members serve four-year terms. Board members are expected to attend Board meetings and other activities that are held during normal business hours, so should have the support of their organization to participate.
Learn more about the responsibilities and prerogatives of NAHRI Advisory Board members by reading the SOW.
To be considered, applicants must be current NAHRI members.
Networking & Education Committee
The NAHRI Networking & Events Committee members are tasked with reviewing and vetting applications submitted through our Call for Speakers for the annual Revenue Integrity Symposium. They will also assist with developing the timed conference agenda. This committee is also tasked with developing and overseeing NAHRI networking groups, mentorship programs, and live networking events/receptions.
For more information on this committee’s responsibilities, see the Networking & Events Committee SOW. Applicants must be current NAHRI members to be considered.
Education Committee
The NAHRI Education Committee exists to maintain and update the NAHRI Scholarship Program. The committee works with NAHRI administration to maintain and update scholarship criteria and application processes, select scholarship recipients from a pool of applicants, and promote continued revenue integrity education among the NAHRI and broader revenue integrity communities.
