Note from the speaker: Connecting with NAHRI members at the Revenue Integrity Symposium

Having a national event like the National Association of Healthcare Revenue Integrity’s (NAHRI) 2018 Revenue Integrity Symposium (RIS) allows our profession to great a network and a presence that is critical for our success. During this event, I am most looking forward to meeting members of NAHRI who share the same professional compassion as I do. An association such as this one has been a long time coming. I have been working in revenue integrity for over 20 years. It’s nice to now have a dedicated community of professionals. RIS will be held October 16–17 at the Wigwam Resort in Litchfield Park (Phoenix), Arizona.  

At RIS, I will be speaking to how organizations can look to structure their revenue integrity efforts on day two at 3:45 p.m. in the session “One Size Does Not Fit All: Revenue Integrity Program Design Options.” There is not one single best practice model out there for revenue integrity, but there are many things must be considered when looking at program design. My presentation will highlight key considerations, pros and cons of program designs, and allow for active sharing and discussion. It’s a great atmosphere for me to share my professional experience from working with organizations across the country, but also to hear firsthand from peers. 

I’m excited about the location for this event. I love the Phoenix weather. I am looking forward to cooler evenings to eat outdoors without those pesky Mid Atlantic mosquitoes I am accustomed to.
