The COVID-19 pandemic has created new challenges for the healthcare industry and revenue integrity is no exception as departments work to tackle new billing and coding guidance.

NAHRI is offering several resources to members and nonmembers who have questions regarding COVID-19 waivers, documentation policies, the implementation of new telehealth guidelines, best practices for remote work, and more.

Members can take advantage of the NAHRI COVID-19 Forum to ask and answer questions that arise as revenue integrity departments adjust to billing and coding changes. If you do not have the answer to a question, a colleague from the NAHRI community can likely help. This is a great place to share information and ideas and assist your peers in navigating challenges. Nonmembers are welcome to use the HCPro and DecisionHealth Coronavirus Forum. Conversations flow in this forum just as they do on the NAHRI Forums but registration is free of charge and does not require membership of any kind.

HCPro has also provided an extensive resource center to help health professionals access the information and guidance they need to do their jobs effectively during this difficult time. The resource center includes links to live on-demand education such as a webinar on Medicare’s new telehealth policies, an emergency preparedness for healthcare workers online training course, and an upcoming March 30 webinar on COVID-19 infection prevention and resources.

The resource center will be updated as more information becomes available, so be sure to bookmark it and check back frequently.
