NAHRI members have access to a plethora of benefits, ranging from the expansive resource library to the NAHRI forums to in-depth analysis and case studies in the quarterly NAHRI Journal.

Today, we will take a closer look at NAHRI Local and Regional Chapters.

Local and Regional Chapters are included in your NAHRI membership. Getting involved in a Local or Regional Chapter is an excellent way to collaborate with colleagues, create a broader network by connecting with revenue integrity professionals across your state or region, and let your voice be heard within the revenue integrity community.

NAHRI offers an easy-to-navigate online Local Chapter map, allowing members to see if chapters have started in their state or region.

Recently, we’ve seen the formation of the Mid-Atlantic Regional Chapter, which is made up of revenue integrity professionals from D.C., Maryland, Virginia, Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New York. The Mid-Atlantic Chapter held its inaugural webinar on Monday, June 29, as Chapter Leaders Caroline Znaniec, MBA, Managing Director, CohnReznick Advisory in Baltimore; Rhonda Wright, CPC, Director of Revenue Integrity, Johns Hopkins Health System in Baltimore; and Lori Lawther, Manager of Revenue Integrity Allegheny Health Network in Pittsburgh engaged in a panel discussion regarding key strategies for developing revenue integrity. Educational sessions provide a promotional opportunity for Local Chapters, as well as a chance to share their expertise with other revenue integrity professionals.

Above all, the collaboration among Local Chapter members creates bonds — both on a personal and professional level — that will be important for years to come.

In the Mid-Atlantic Region, for example, Znaniec and Wright work in the Baltimore area, while Lawther works four hours northwest in Pittsburgh. Through the Regional Chapter, the trio — along with many other chapter members — has been able to connect, exchange ideas, ask questions, and keep in regular contact.

Similarly, NAHRI’s Texas Local Chapter has connected revenue integrity professionals from Houston, Dallas, Cibolo, Sugarland, and many other cities within the state.
