In March 2022, I was given the opportunity to lead the newly formed revenue integrity department at Bronson Healthcare Group in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Prior to that time, several different departments handled revenue integrity functions, but there was no core group or unified goal. Changing that was my mission.
The NAHRI Leadership Council is member-driven -- that means our priority is to give you the opportunity to connect with your peers on the Council and share your own insight, expertise, and experiences. Council members have a number of options for increasing their involvement.
There are always opportunities to expand use of existing automation tools. Revenue integrity departments need to make informed choices about new areas to automate and be realistic about their ability to commit resources and show a return on investment.
